Film “The Kids from the Marx and Engels street”, directed by Nikola Vukcevic, will be presented at the film festivals in Spain and India. At the Madrid International film festival actor Momcilo Otasevic (role of young Stanko in the Kids) is nominated for the Best actor in the Foreign language film category, while Goran Bogdan (role of older Stanko) is nominated for the best supporting actor. Montenegrin national Oscar candidate
We are proud to announce that our feature film “The Kids from the Marx and Engels street” is Montenegrin national candidate for the prestigious Oscar award. Montenegrin Ministry of culture announced today that selection committee decided that “the Kids” was Montenegrin national candidate for the American film academy award, for the Best foreign movie category. Ministry of culture will support film promotion at Wilshire Screening Room in Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, via European Film Promotion network.
